OK people, I know blogs are usually all about who I am and what I am doing, but today I need you to tell me a couple of things. Most of these are pretty lame questions, and some of them need to be asked because I have been in Deutschland for so long. So help me out here and give me your best answers.
1. I need to find a good healthy bread that tastes good. Since we came back to the states I have been looking for a staple bread that I think is good for my family, and tastes good. I have bought about 10 different kinds and don't REALLY like any of them. So tell me what you buy.
2. Emily mentioned on her blog that she is a faithful moisturizer, and I would like to be one. Tell me what face washing soap you use, and moisturizer.
3. Along the same lines, I need a good mousse and or hairspray that works great and deals well with frizz and curls.
4. **Very Important** tell me what TV shows are a "must see" in your weekly line up. I only have one which is the Biggest Loser, but I feel like I am missing out on some shows just because I don't know if they are good.
Thanks for your help!
Just so I don't do another blog without pictures, here are two of baby Brandon.
This sweet boy can't walk and still wakes up at night for a bottle, but his dear old Dad taught him where his nose is, and he finds his (or yours) every time we ask. SmArT KiD!

I recently became determined to find a product that works well with curls and have gone through a bunch. My favorite so far is a cream that comes in a bright orange tube. It is Beyond the Zone brand and comes from Sally's beauty supply. I don't remember what exactly it's called, but if you look for the orange tube and the brand, you'll find it. Beyond the Zone also has a good frizz control serum and a little goes a long way. I'm using a Bed Head product right now which is also good but a lot more expensive.
We buy Granny's Delight bread, but I think it's only available in Utah. Milton's Mult-grain bread from Costco is yummy - a little bit sweet. Oh, and you have to add The Office to your list of must-sees.
Brandon is getting cuter and cuter. I used to think he didn't look anything like the rest of your boys, but I'm starting to see a lot of resemblance as he's getting older. What a handsome little man!
Oh my, he is sooo incredibly adorable.
Can't help with many of the questions but I can add a show to your weekly line up.
"Brothers and Sisters" as a friend described it to me, "it's a lot like seventh heaven only they are all grown up." As a warning, there is a homosexual character. It is tastefully done, but you may want to preview it without kiddies.
I have never found a bread I really like, so good luck on that one. Landon still makes bread every week so we haven't had to worry about that. I use Dove soap to wash my face. I have really dry skin and that is the only thing that doesn't dry it out more. And I use Oil of Olay SPF 15 to moisturize. Sue must use it too because when we were first married Landon told me I smelled like his mom.
There are a few shows that Landon and I love. The Office, of course. But we also love 30 Rock (season premier on Oct 30) and my personal favorite: Friday Night Lights. I actually got hooked on that one at Laura's house. It's fabulous. But it doesn't come on until January.
1. Sarah Lee's 100% whole wheat with honey. I like it because the #1 ingredient is not high fructose corn syrup. Instead the first things you see are natural stuff like wheat, wheat and more wheat, brown sugar and honey.
2. Clinique has always been my favorite!! I use it morning and night the whole regimen
3. I don't have curls but have been told fiber putty (which I do use and love) and a bit of hair spray for curls works
4. I need some too. All I watch is biggest loser, and I buy it off iTunes faithfully each week since we don't have that channel.
First of all, that boy of yours is TOO cute! I love the first picture!
1. I too like the Sarah Lee brand of breads. They make a whole wheat white bread that my kids love. It's super soft and yummy.
2. I am not super picky when it comes to face wash and moisterizer. My theory is as long as you are moisterizing, it doesn't really matter what kind you use. I use Clean and Clear brand foamy face wash and Ponds face cream. Both work great for me.
3. I'm not much help in the hair department as I really need help too:)
4. We LOVE The Office! That is our favorite next to Lost. We recently started watching Prison Break and it is pretty good too. My advice would be to not get started or hooked on anything--it's a hard habit to break:)!
Wow! What a nose picker he's going to turn out to be! :) Okay, as for bread, we just buy the worst kind for you, white. I don't moisturize, so I can't help you there. My fav shows are Survivor, The Office (HILARIOUS, btw) Lost, and now there's a new show on Fox called Fringe. Oh, and for hairspray, there's stuff that I use on the girls that will seriously freeze your hairstyle. You, of course, can tell you've got hairspray on, it's not one of those that you can't tell whether or not you're wearing hairspray, but if you want something that will hold every single strand in place, you gotta get it. It's called Instant Freeze. It's in a purple can, and works fabulously!
Hey Theresa! Remember me? I found your blog blog-hopping, and your family is so cute! I love reading all about your life in Germany. My Father-in-Law lives in Salzburg, so it brings back a lot of memories of our visits there.
As far as your questions, I have tried so many curly hair products, it's ridiculous. I always cone back to Suave mousse(maximum hold), a little hairspray, and then dry with a diffuser. One thing that I have learned is that every product works different for every type of curl.
Oh, and my must-see TV includes The Office, Gray's Anatomy, and the Amazing Race.

1. Bread. There is no such thing as bread that's good for you(except homemade whole wheat). We buy Oroweats Double Fiber or the two pack at Costco- Whole Grain 100% Whole Wheat. They don't taste great, but they're good for you. If I have delicious bread in the house- like a great sourdough- I'll eat the whole pack in just a couple days.
2. Moisturizer- I have the driest skin. For face wash, I use aveeno sensitive skin(or Dove if I'm in the shower). For lotion- Cetaphil, the same thing I use on my whole body.
3. My favorite mousse they took off the market about a year ago. I haven't found a replacement. Let me know if you find something great. Just yesterday Brian asked me what all that white flakey stuff was in my hair. Stupid mousse.
4. TV shows-
The Office, 30 Rock(it's hilarious, but I'm not as devoted to it), Friday Night LIghts I LOVE, ER- yes, after 10 years Brian and I both still LOVE it, and if you promise not to tell anyone- the new 90210.
Hi Teresa,
Sorry this is so late.
Bread - We love Ezekial bread. It's sprouted sesame seeds with no wheat, so I'm not sure how the kids would feel.
Face: I LOVE Sensé by USANA, so much that I sell it. It's the first skin care line that I've stuck to after spending 30 years buying whatever in the drugstore. Paraben free with lots of nutrients and reasonably priced. I'll send you a sample.
Hair care: Love Curls Up brand "curl reactivator and defrizzant". I used to get it at Walmart, now I can only find it at Vons (go figure). It leaves my hair much softer and shinier then anything else I've tried and keeps my wavy hair scrunched just right.
TV shows: The ONLY show I watch is "House". Several of us have told our husbands that if we ever get sick, get House to diagnose us. So what if he's not real.
Hope all is well. Love keeping up with your family. They are all so cute!
Terri
#4 - THE BACHELOR!!!
